2012 International Meditation Camp(Winter Vassa) was held in Bodhgaya in India.
For three months from the middle of November 2012 to the middle of February in 2013,
many meditators from the world participated in this camp.
They had been practiced Sati/ Vippassana meditation all the time with noble silence.
When meditators begin a meditation practice, the teacher advises them how much time to spend on each type of meditation.
Twenty five monks and several lay people of various nationalities took part and practiced very hard.
Few committed lay volunteers supported the centre. The volunteers took part in gardening, cooking and interpreting languages for foreign meditators and visitors etc. Their kindness is really appreciated by the meditators. This camp was hugely successful.
During the Vassa, they sometimes had group pilgrimages.
This camp is open to everyone every year.
